Anno 2009 hat der Mainstream meinen musikalischen Alltag fest im Griff. Höchste Zeit das angestaubte, sinistre Myrkjartan-Image über Bord zu werfen und den Namen erneut zu ändern… Mætty Hawk ward geboren.
Auch wenn sich musikalisch gesehen so schnell nichts ändern wird (dazu muss ich noch mehr Britney und Justin hören!), sei vor zukünftigen Entwicklungen gewarnt: Elektro + Gitarrengeschrammel + zuckersüßes Gesäusel + oberflächliche Texte in Bestform.

In the year 2009 the mainstream gained upperhand in my everyday life. It’s high time to change the moldy, sinister image that was marked by the name Myrkjartan and to change the name once again… Mætty Hawk was born.
Even tough there won’t be any changes concerning the music in the near future, you should be warned against prospective developments: electro + strummed guitars + sugar sweet singsong + superficial lyrics.
